Frequently Asked Questions
My washer won't drain. Is this the part I need?
It can be. Owners often find coins, hairpins and other small objects in the pump, so check the trap and pump for debris first. If the impeller has broken or the pump is noisy or hot to the touch, replace the pump.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part from Whirlpool, not an aftermarket equivalent.
Is the filter sold separately?
No. The filter is part of the pump, so you replace the whole assembly if the filter needs replacing.
Will this fit my washer?
It is listed for many Whirlpool-built models, but the model list above is only a sample. Check your full model number against your parts diagram, or contact our support team and we'll verify it before you order.
