HVAC Capacitors, Transformer, Contactor
HVAC Capacitors
Capacitors provide the initial electrical charge needed to start the motor and keep it running. Over time, they can wear out or get damaged, causing the AC unit to slow down or stop working. Replacing a capacitor involves shutting off the power, discharging the capacitor, and installing a new one.
HVAC Transformers
Transformers step down the voltage from the main power supply to a lower voltage suitable for the control circuits and other components within the HVAC system. They ensure that the system operates safely and efficiently by providing the right amount of power to each component.
HVAC Contactors
Contactors are electrically controlled switches used for switching an electrical circuit. In HVAC systems, they control the flow of electricity to the compressor and other components. When the thermostat signals the need for heating or cooling, the contactor closes the circuit to start the system.
