 Description:  This is a replacement door switch. It is also known as a refrigerator door switch or light switch kit. This turns on the light when the fridge door is open and ensures it remains off when the door is closed. Replace your light switch if the light is not turning on when the door is open. To complete this simple repair, you'll need a putty knife and a small flat-blade screwdriver. Begin by disconnecting the power. Then, use the putty knife and flathead screwdriver to pry the door switch out of the liner. Disconnect the wire harness to remove the damaged switch. Install the new part by connecting it to the wire harness, aligning the switch with the liner, and snapping it into place.
