Description: This Primary Water Inlet Valve is a replacement part for select Kenmore, Maytag, Whirlpool refrigerator models. This valve controls the flow of water into the refrigerator's ice maker and water dispenser. Common causes of a bad primary water inlet valve can include mineral deposits or debris clogging the valve, electrical issues such as faulty solenoids, and general wear and tear from frequent use.
