Microwave Diode
The microwave diode is a semiconductor device that converts alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC), significantly increasing the voltage needed to power the magnetron. Microwave Fuses

This low-wattage bulb typically operates when the microwave is running or when the door is open. If the bulb burns out, it can be easily replaced to restore visibility inside the microwave.
