Prevent overfilling and protect your dishwasher from water damage with the XPARTCO WD21X10519 Dishwasher Flood Switch. This Flood Switch Assembly is a replacement part compatible with GE dishwashers. The dishwasher flood switch and thermistor assembly is responsible for detecting and preventing water from overflowing the dishwasher. It is located at the base of the tub and detects when water is present in the base from a leak, preventing the water inlet valve from filling further. The thermistor shuts off the water flow from the valve if the incoming water temperature is outside of the acceptable range.
