ERP W10754448 Washer Electro-Magnetic Clutch

  • 120V, 60Hz, electro magnetic clutch assembly.
  • Fits Whirlpool large capacity top load washers.
  • Designed to fit specific Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, and Crosley washer models

 Description: This Clutch is a replacement part compatible with specific Whirlpool, Maytag and Kenmore washing machines. It engages the transmission that drives the wash basket's rotation during agitation and spinning cycles. Without a functioning clutch, the washer cannot transition effectively between wash and rinse operations. The clutch measures 4-7/8 inches in diameter  Causes of a bad clutch can include wear from repetitive use over many years or damage to the clutch coil that triggers engagement. Parts may have weakened to a point where they no longer make full contact needed for proper shifting.
