Description: This water inlet valve is a replacement part for specific Samsung Washer models. The water inlet valve is the gatekeeper for the water flow into the washer. When the operator sets the wash cycle, the solenoid fires up and tells the valve to open the gate for cold water to fill the washer tub. When the tub has filled to a preset level, the valve gates close and the water flow stops. If this valve fails, the water will not stop and will eventually flood or the water might not be signaled to flow at all. 

This is an aftermarket part that can be used as a replacement for the OEM part.
