EXP6974 Dryer Thermostat Set for Electric Dryers

This Thermostat Kit used in some Whirlpool, Kenmore, Roper, Maytag, Estate, Kirkland and KitchenAid Electric Dryers.

Thermal Cut-Off:
Heating element thermal cut-off (thermal fuse) 309 degrees.

Thermal fuse:
If the dryer overheats, this device stops the flow of electricity to the heat source and/or the entire dryer. It is located on the blower housing and cannot be reset. The most common cause for overheating is a vent tube clogged with lint, a birds nest or other debris.

Hi-Limit Thermostat: Dryer high-limit thermostat, L250-80, with terminal extension arm. This thermostat should be closed for continuity at room temperature and opens at around 250 degrees Fahrenheit. 
Cycle Thermostat: Dryer cycling thermostat with internal bias heater, L155-25. If the dryer won't heat, it is unlikely that this thermostat is causing the issue, as the thermal fuse or thermal cut-out normally fail first.
